FOR ALL

Jibe opened its first location in Portland, Maine, in April 2018, followed by a second in Yarmouth, ME (2020), a third in Charleston, SC (2021), and a fourth in Mt. Pleasant, SC (2023). The company is a locally owned, women-operated business dedicated to promoting wellness and community, with a focus on supporting mind, body, and spirit.

Jibe’s fitness philosophy blends hustle and luxury. On the bike, their rhythm-driven rides include choreography, weights, and core exercises for a full-body workout. Off the bike, they offer a variety of TACK classes, including a beat-based strength, sculpt and stretch workout. Classes are led by inspiring instructors, accompanied by dynamic lighting and curated playlists to help participants stay focused and energized.

Beyond fitness, Jibe prioritizes creating a welcoming space that accommodates busy lifestyles. Each location has high-end bathrooms, offering multiple showers for post-workout. More than just a fitness studio, Jibe fosters a supportive, close-knit community, where members become part of a tribe committed to helping each other grow both in and out of the studio.

our mission

At Jibe, we believe in the transformational power of fitness. We are more than a cycling studio and more than a workout. Jibe is a verb meaning a change in direction, and also to be in sync. We ride to feel stronger, to inspire, to connect with our community, to have fun, and to feel great—body, mind, and spirit.

why we’re different

At Jibe, we prioritize an exceptional experience with expertly trained instructors, state-of-the-art Stages bikes, dynamic lighting, and premium sound for the best ride possible.

Beyond the spin room, our studio offers a comfortable  and rejuvenating space, including spa-like bathrooms with luxury amenities and showers to freshen up after your workout.

FAQs

  • Anyone 13 years of age and up! The ride is suitable for all levels and is low impact. The amazing thing about indoor cycling is that you can go at your own pace. You will not hold anyone back, and no one will hold you back from making the best of your 45-minute workout. As with any workout, consult a physician before starting. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and all riders under 18 must have a parent- or guardian-signed waiver to participate.

  • Create an account online, purchase a credit package, and  book a bike in the class you want to take. For your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can give you a studio tour, and make sure you are properly set up on your bike.

  • Yes! We have a class called Tack which is a 45 min HIIT & Strength class OFF the bike. Expect high energy, beat based movements in our newest class type. Wear workout clothes, sneakers and bring a mat if you have one. We also have rental mats in studio for $3 each.

  • Bring a water bottle, towel, a great attitude and wear workout apparel. We offer sweat towels, shoe rentals for $3 (our bikes accommodate SPD and Delta Look clips if you have your own), a filtered water station, earplugs, and extra hair ties! If you forget something, not to worry! We sell men’s & women’s workout apparel, socks, workout towels, spin shoes and water bottles.

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class so we can get you checked in and give you a tour. When you arrive, please initial next to your name at the front desk, and let the staff know if you need shoes or water. If it is your first class, the desk staff will give you a tour of the studio. When the spin studio is ready, the door will be opened, and you are welcome to start setting up on your bike!
